It’s difficult to believe that MARCH is already here and it’s even more difficult to think the this is the 24th edition of this letter. Whether you have been with us since the 1st edition, or this is the first time you encountering the letters (please give the others a read!), welcome to this communal village project.

Summer 2025 Short Courses lift-off!
We're thrilled to announce the launch of two UWC Short Courses: Embodying Earth and Doing Good.
🌍 Embodying Earth: A UWC Short Course
🔎 What?
Embodying Earth is a 2-week immersive climate leadership program that brings together young changemakers to explore the roots of the climate crisis and how they can be of service to their communities. Participants engage in climate science, regenerative leadership, and nature-based learning, gaining tools to create sustainable impact.
👥 Who?
This course is designed for young leaders aged 16-20 from across Asia who are passionate about climate action, sustainability, and leadership development.
📍 Where?
The program takes place in Nui Tuong Education Project, Đồng Nai, Vietnam, located near Cát Tiên National Park, a biodiversity-rich environment that serves as the perfect setting for hands-on sustainability learning.

🌟 Doing Good: A UWC Short Course
🔎 What?
Doing Good is a 2.5-week UWC Short Course that helps high school students explore the question: "What is good work, and how do we do it?" Through a mix of experiential learning, ethical decision-making, and community engagement, participants will broaden their perspectives on meaningful impact and ethical leadership.
👥 Who?
This course is for high school students aged 15-17 who are eager to engage in intercultural exchange, ethical leadership, and community work while developing skills in design thinking, communication, and critical reflection.
📍 Where?
The course takes place in Bình Định, Vietnam, where participants will immerse themselves in local culture and impactful community initiatives.

Welcoming Phong Le to Our Team
We’re also excited to introduce Phong Le, our new Marketing and Communications Specialist.
Phong graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam with a degree in International Communications & Cultural Diplomacy. Since then, he has built a career in strategic communications, gaining experience across corporate, agency, and nonprofit sectors.
As part of the Education for Good team, Phong leverages his expertise to enhance access to impactful, equitable, and sustainable education for both Vietnamese and international students.
Beyond his professional work, Phong is deeply interested in academic research, particularly in strategic communications, culture, and entertainment. In his free time, Phong is a keen appreciator of sci-fi movies, soundtracks, traditional Vietnamese music, and real-time strategy (RTS) games.
