Dear Friends,

Some seasons are for blooming.
Others are for rooting deep.

At Education for Good, we are in a season of tending—still very much alive, but quieter, more deliberate. Like roots growing just beneath the surface, we are focusing our energy on what grounds us most: cultivating young people with strong hearts, clear purpose, and a deep sense of belonging—both to themselves and to the communities they serve.

We continue to run our short courses, offer scholarships through the Good Futures Fund, and hold space for youth to ask hard questions, listen to one another, and imagine more courageous ways of being in the world.

This work was never meant to be rushed. It grows in relationship, in reflection, in trust. So while things may appear still from the outside, we know that some of the most important growth happens underground.

🌏 UWC Short Courses Snapshot

We are thrilled for the upcoming summer!

Across two UWC short courses—Doing Good and Embodying Earth—we are welcoming young changemakers from 20 unique countries across six continents. Each brings a unique story, and we’re honored to hold space for them as they reflect, belong, and begin to shape the kind of leaders they aspire to be.

Facilitators for both programs have been selected and are currently undergoing training. We can’t wait to welcome participants throughout July.

For Doing Good, this marks our second year. Last summer, students explored what it means to do meaningful work in the world and left with deepened purpose:

“I feel like I have a redefined understanding of what good work is and how I can do good in my community.”

As we prepare to launch Embodying Earth for the very first time, we carry that same commitment forward—cultivating good hearts, thoughtful questions, and a sense of responsibility to something greater than ourselves.
